About Prodragon
Prodragon Websling Co is a joint venture partnership between Checkmate Ltd of the UK and the Do Van family of Vietnam.
With many years of experience in the weaving and production of narrow fabrics and textile lifting slings between them, the partners, by combining, have brought state of the art standards of quality and technical excellence together to create a World class manufacturing operation just outside Hanoi. The facility and production plant was designed from scratch and built to demanding specifications to facilitate the weaving of high quality polyester webbing and the conversion of the finished product into slings, both woven webbing and seamless roundslings. Established in Vietnam for over 10 years now PWS holds an enviable track record in both production and delivery of a quality product all underscored by the ISO 9001 (2015) standard.
Virtually all the plant and machinery installed was brand new, designed for the purpose and of the latest specification enabling round the clock operations to be maintained to ensure that our customer’s requirements can be met promptly.


The Marine Cargo sling is a vital part of break bulk handling operations today, the “Checkmate” sling manufactured in the UK for over 35 years is renowned as a watchword in the industry for quality and value giving a service life of many years, the same product is available from our Vietnam factory and you may rest assured that the same care and attention will be paid to your requirements.
The benefits: Our Vietnam plant is purpose built and designed to enable us to produce the finest range of slings with the cargo handling market uppermost in our mind, we know that in doing so we have created one of the LOWEST cost operations anywhere in the World—in a competitive market we continue to focus on delivering the best product bar none. Additional developments : the site that we occupy was developed with growth in mind with the production of industrial market roundslings and webslings commencing in 2017 and is being expanded. The production of wider width webbing using newly commissioned weaving machines is being undertaken and additional new equipment is being installed.
During 2020 we opened an additional facility with an extension to our factory to cope with rising demand, this new plant is 3000sq metres of additional capacity.
